Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The article has not been previously published, nor has it been submitted to any other journal, and it will not be submitted to any journal while it is under review. If authors do so, they will receive sanctions ranging from three years to being banned forever and will not be able to submit or publish any article in the journal KINESTESIS: Journal of Physical Education, Sports, and Health Science again, depending on the severity.
- Articles are submitted using the article writing requirements (according to the template) that you can access by clicking this link, with the language of the article text being English, where you can see the ‘Author Guideline’ for writing by this link https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Bs8HJCxBli6GZNO7x5IOFynxI9f43j5D/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=112772438072645471481&rtpof=true&sd=true
- The first author and all contributors/authors of the article have been added. To do this, in the third step in ENTER METADATA where it says ADD CONTRIBUTORS, add all authors and verify that the order is correct. You must enter the first name (Given Name) and the last name (Family Name) (do not leave them empty as this will cause errors in the publication; in countries where there is only one name, repeat it in two boxes, as the system does not allow to leave the boxes empty) and all the information that you consider appropriate (Affiliation, ORCID, Biographical Summary/Bio Statement, other). It is VERY IMPORTANT that after the name or surname there is no space, this is an error detected by the platform and will cause problems. It is not possible to add collaborators/authors once the submission has been made. Similarly, the title, summary and keywords are in the official language of the journal: English.
- If submitting to the peer-reviewed section of the journal, you must ensure that (Ensuring Blind Review) has been followed.
- Web addresses and DOIs have been added for citation (where possible).
- The maximum length of a manuscript is approximately 7,000 words (as a guideline), including the summary, all sections, and references. Anything longer requires prior request and authorisation from the Editorial Board. The text has been submitted in the template that the journal provides to authors at https://ejournalvidyasubhaga.com/index.php/KINESTESIS/376
- The publishing process is accompanied by a letter to the editor, signed by all authors represented by the correspondence author (in the ‘start’ section of the submission).
- The text adheres to the citation and referencing requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines. APA Style 7th Ed. is used, and the writing is done correctly to facilitate the revision and editing stages. References that are not related to the article topic or context should not be included in citations. If we detect this, we will retract the article after publication.
- The authors are aware of the publication charges for normal reviews which can be found from "author (s) fees" by the link here https://ejournalvidyasubhaga.com/index.php/KINESTESIS/532
- The authors declare that they have passed the anti-plagiarism programme and the submitted article does not exceed 15%, excluding bibliographic references from this analysis. They attach a document in PDF format to the submission to prove that the article contains less than the required 15% of plagiarism.
- If the author withdraws the article and the journal sees it published in another journal, they will be penalised for three years without being able to submit articles to the journal "KINESTESIS: Journal of Physical Education, Sport, and Health Sciences". This ethical principle is fundamental in the scientific world and cannot be tarnished.
- We are very sensitive to plagiarism or self-plagiarism. Reviewers will use different programmes to detect plagiarism during the text evaluation process. Authors who violate this aspect will be penalised between five years and banned from submitting articles to the journal "KINESTESIS: Journal of Physical Education, Sport, and Health Sciences", depending on the severity. The journal, for its part, will use the Turnitin anti-plagiarism programme just before final publication.
- Authors who have used artificial intelligence must indicate which applications and in which processes and sections they have been used. If the use of artificial intelligence is proven without mentioning it, they will be banned forever and will not be able to submit or publish any article in the journal "KINESTESIS: Journal of Physical Education, Sport, and Health Sciences". Similarly, all articles published by the authors involved will be withdrawn.
- Authors must not make unjustified abuse of the author's self-citation of their work, this is considered bad practice and can lead to a five-year ban on publishing in the journal "KINESTESIS: Journal of Physical Education, Sport, and Health Sciences". VERY IMPORTANT: verify that ALL citations and references must correspond to the text of the article and that NO references are included that are not related to the topic of the article or the context in which they are cited. If any are detected after the article has been published, they will be withdrawn. Similarly, it is necessary to verify that the links to the references work and correspond to the article that has been referenced.
- Similarly, if such reports and facts are verified, the article will be withdrawn from the journal for poor practice. The author has visited, read, and accepted the conditions stated in the ‘Author Guidelines’ found at the link https://ejournalvidyasubhaga.com/index.php/KINESTESIS/376
- The maximum number of authors in an article is equal to or less than 8. If the research requires more authors, a letter should be sent to the journal editor to explain, justify, and request more authors. This request will be studied by the Editorial Team according to its scope and a decision will be made and notified to the authors.
- Authors recognise and accept that no more than one work signed by the first author and one work in which the author is listed as a co-author may be published in each issue. However, in the same year an author may not publish more than 1.5% of the total articles published by the journal. A list of authors will be published alphabetically in each issue, indicating the number of works each author has, to comply with this requirement and to ensure transparency.
- The authors declare that this research was prepared, researched, written, and edited without the aid of artificial intelligence (AI) techniques
